We teach art as a learned skill colored with creativity. Creativity follows mastery and we strive to give your children a quality art program where they can learn the skills necessary to create their own works of art. Each lesson begins with a brief art history focusing on a particular artist. Student learn about the skills and techniques of that period and the works of art that made the artist famous. Every class ends with a masterpiece created by your child.

What is included in each weekly lesson?

A brief art history lesson featuring a different artist every week; a finished project using a technique, style or media used during that time period and the Mozart Effect. All materials are included in the monthly fee.

 

What is the Mozart Effect?

The Mozart Effect is believed to be the effect of music on our minds by listening to classical music. Research has shown that the best results come from classical music. By listening to classical music while drawing we hope to boost IQ score, spatial reasoning, as found in recent research.
